[15:11]  ² tn Heb “father,” but Hebrew often uses the terms “father” and “mother” for grandparents and more remote ancestors.

[17:8]  ³ tn Heb “And the word of the Lord came to him, saying.”

[21:17]  ⁴ tn Heb “the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite.”

[22:5]  ⁵ tn Heb “and Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel.”
